Terms of Service

1. The service

StoneVaults provides discovery, listing, RFQ, quoting, messaging, and order-coordination tools for natural stone trade. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practicable.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and be authorized to act for any company you represent. We may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, misrepresentation, or Terms violations.

3. Buyer responsibilities

Buyers are responsible for evaluating product suitability, verifying samples/specs as needed, confirming commercial terms with suppliers, and complying with import, tax, and project requirements in their jurisdictions.

4. Supplier responsibilities

Suppliers must publish accurate listings (photos, specs, pricing context, origin, availability), respond to RFQs in good faith, honor quoted terms they accept, and maintain lawful business operations and documentation.

5. Platform role & limitation

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, StoneVaults is an intermediary marketplace. Contracts for sale of goods are between buyer and supplier. We are not a party to those contracts and do not guarantee product quality, delivery performance, or payment outcomes for off-platform settlements.

6. Payments

Payments may be arranged directly between parties. Any payment instructions shared in chat or order notes are user-provided. StoneVaults is not a bank or escrow provider unless a specific paid escrow product is later offered under separate terms.

7. Content & IP

You retain rights to content you upload, and grant StoneVaults a worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content for operating and promoting the marketplace. You must not upload content that infringes third-party rights or is unlawful.

8. Prohibited use

You may not scrape the platform without permission, spam users, attempt unauthorized access, upload malware, misrepresent identity/company, or use the service for unlawful trade.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that listings are error-free. Natural stone is variable; photography and samples may differ from delivered lots.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StoneVaults is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from marketplace use or transactions between users. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to fees you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify StoneVaults against claims arising from your content, your transactions, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of stonevaults.com, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer/business protections in your jurisdiction require otherwise. Disputes should first be raised via https://www.stonevaults.com/contact.

13. Changes

We may revise these Terms. Continued use after posting updates constitutes acceptance where permitted. If you do not agree, stop using the service and request account closure.
